NEGATIVES: It was toward the end of August and most all of the stores (which were close) closed early.
My wife and I needed a weekend getaway so we decided to on The Riverside Lodge. We were extremely happy with the friendly service. The lady at the front desk was able to make recommendations on places to visit and they were all enjoyable. They provide a nice breakfast layout. We loved that the broad river was right out our back door and could fall asleep to its melody of rushing water in a minute. We will definitely be back.
This place is amazing. Our girls weekend was going to be cancelled bc the original place booked had "septic tank" problems and told us on Thursday. Day before leaving for our vacation. This place made it work for us. Such an amazing friendly staff. Very clean rooms and updated while keeping lodge feel. Amazing views of Broad River and Chimney Rock off balconies.
The Riverside is right on the river. That's my favorite!!! morning coffee watching and listening to the river, what a way to start the day. The ladies that work there are the best, so sweet and eager to help you with anything. I will definitely stay there again. They treated us like family.
Very nice place to stay. Never had stayed tjere before. Room was clean and had been updated. I stayed in lower rear of inn with beautiful view of Mountain stream. Will stay there again.
