New business, good folks really, excellent food. You tourists should learn to slow down, relax a bit. This ain't the big city y'all. If you follow the locals, you'll find us here. The deck is awesome. Put down your "smart" phone long enough to enjoy an hour in Chimney Rock. If your self worth is measured by what's on your phone, you have none.

My Mom and I ate at Nachitos for lunch today. It was delicious. She had the Mexican pizza with tomatillo sauce chicken and avocado and it was extremely tasty with excellent texture and flavor profile. I had the enchiladas 3 chicken with tomatillo sauce and rice and beans. We split both dishes. We also got a side of their delicious guacamole and the meal and the service were both delightful. We will be going back. Our servers name was Victor and he was great. The post office lady from Bat Cave came in while we were there. The place is great. Very lucky to have this great place to eat so close to Mom. Just went again today. I had carne asada and mom had the sopas. This place is EXCELLENT. Great service and great food for the money. Of you want a flavor explosion going off in your mouth eat here. The bathrooms are clean the place is clean and they have a huge deck overlooking the river. It is gorgeous here. The food os superb. We will keep coming back here. One of two of the best quality fresh food in Lake Lure and Chimney Rock areas. AAAAA+++++ I am including photos of the place and the view. So far we have had the enchiladas, the Mexican pizza, the sopas and the carne asada. All were excellent or better. This place is a gem. You guys have to try this place!!!!! I took photos of the menu and one shows the hours. Try this place. Amazing for this area o have lived for almost 52 years.
I stopped here twice while in Chimney Rock, NC. These guys should be on Dinners and Dives!! Food is fresh made even my guacamole dip!! Fresh cut yesterda Ribeye was really good too. We had their nachos with steak ( you pick the meat you want), and it was so good that I had no room for dinner. The cooks, only 2 of them are as friendly as the wait staff. It's a hole in the wall with a deck over a branch of the French Broad river, but the important thing is the food is fresh prepped and has a great taste!!!
Outdoor seating is the best. Offers great views with tasty and fresh Mexican specialties. Service is attentive and friendly, and prompt. We will be back!
